April --just April Bartlet is the unfortunate niece of
Jed Bartlet, the daughter of his younger brother, Jonathan. April was brought up to be god-fearing, kind, and honest, but along
the way something happened that changed her life. When she hit rock bottom with drugs and alcohol, she found herself
pregnant, single, and homeless. Her uncle Jed took her in with her newborn daughter Kelsey. He took custody of Kelsey when she relapsed, but has always willingly taken April in every time she's come
