Leo is a hard as nails, pragmatic, but human man,
who served in Vietnam and survived. He's is a realistic idealist who often faces difficulty remembering individuals
when faced with generalities. Despite that, he has a warm place in his heart for his friends and family. He is
humorous and brilliant and decisive. He leaves no stone unturned and does not fear God or war. His lack of fear
does not always serve him well, but he has people that do. He and Jed Bartlet have been friends on and off for nearly forty years.
